Villagers can raise grievances (i) at the local level, in the Nenskra and Nakra valleys, (ii) at the Projects headquarters in Tbilisi, and (iii) through the Project’s website.
Anyone from the affected communities can raise a grievance:
By filling a written grievance registration form that will be available (i) in the Town halls of Chuberi and Naki villages, and (ii) at the entrance of each construction site. The Project’s CLO will review these registers at least twice a week.
Through the Projects CLOs, field Social Manager, the Environmental and community relationships managers of the EPC contractor, grievances can be delivered either by phone, by a written grievance registration form, or by direct oral discussion.
Screen for grievance standing will take a week because Many ‘complaints’ in fact are expected to be merely requested for information. Two levels of grievance resolution will deal and solve each grievance of which response will be provided within three weeks after screening for standing. Workers grievance mechanisms are being prepared and implemented by the Contractor.
